If you’ve been looking for an excuse to relive the fever of Beatlemania, get ready, because a symphonic tribute to The Beatles is coming to town that will bring back memories, nostalgia, and, of course, the greatest hits of the Fab Four.
The Beatles Symphonic Tribute show will be presented by Grupo Morsa, which was founded in 1984 in Mexico City. This is no fly-by-night band: they’ve performed at Liverpool’s very own Cavern Club and have the experience of having recorded at the historic Abbey Road Studios in London!
For this special occasion, the group won’t be alone. Their classic guitars, bass, and drums will blend with the strings, woodwinds, and brass of an impressive live orchestra. It will be an audiovisual spectacle lasting approximately 90 minutes, where the legacy of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr will reach a new dimension.
We don’t want to spoil the set list for you ; all we can say is that you’ll enjoy songs like “Something,” “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” and “A Hard Day’s Night.”
The event to enjoy these melodies will take place next Friday, September 25, at 7:30 p.m., at the Silvestre Revueltas Hall, located within the Ollin Yoliztli Cultural Center (Periférico Sur 5141, Tlalpan).
Tickets are now on sale at the following prices: $549,$649, and $749.
