Is the difference significant? Currently, the sanctuary charges a regular general admission price of $239, so with this promotion, you’ll save $89 per ticket—about 37%.
El Nido is located in Ixtapaluca, State of Mexico, and is dedicated to the conservation and breeding of species. This sanctuary is home to more than 120 species of birds, many of which are endangered.
How much do tickets to El Nido cost?
During the September promotion, general admission will cost $150 per person —but take note! This offer is only valid on Saturdays and Sundays.
There is also a regular rate of $199 for children under 12, INAPAM cardholders, Ixtapaluca residents, and people with disabilities who present a valid ID. Parking costs $30.
Note the terms and conditions: the $150 promotion does not apply to organized groups of more than six people.
What can you see at El Nido?
Eagles, toucans, flamingos, and other birds are part of this sanctuary. Among its inhabitants, the quetzal also stands out—an iconic species around which El Nido has developed conservation and breeding efforts.
What can you experience there? Guided tours and interactions with birds await you. A visit to this sanctuary lasts approximately four hours, making it an excellent weekend getaway without having to spend money on lodging.
