The weekend is even better when there’s delicious food involved! This time, we’re recommending a spot in the southern part of the city, in Xochimilco, where the Ax-Elote Festival will take place—an event where flavor and traditional cuisine will be the main attraction, ensuring a great time from September 11 to 13.
The event will take place at Antiguo Canal Cuemanco 4557, located at the Virgilio Uribe Olympic Track in Mexico City. Over these three days, you’ll be able to enjoy a wide variety of activities for children and adults, including a relaxing temazcal, cultural workshops, and a delicious selection of local food.
In addition, there will be a camping area, a plant sale, and a craft market.
A lively atmosphere is guaranteed with excellent live music performances throughout the weekend.
On Saturday, September 12, at 2:00 p.m., DJ Cris Minuet will be setting the beat. On Sunday, September 13, at 2:00 p.m., it will be Netosh & the INB’s turn. That same day, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., you’ll enjoy a performance by Grupo LDO (Luna de Octubre).
Don’t miss the chance to connect with nature and experience a little piece of Xochimilco’s culture at the Ax-Elote Festival.
