Are you the type who would trade the noise of the city for a night among the trees? If the answer is yes, add this place to your “places to visit” list. Lobo Glamp is located at the Corral de Piedra Ecotourism Center in Amanalco de Becerra, State of Mexico, and combines forest, lake, and various lodging options for a getaway outside Mexico City.
The site is approximately a 50-minute drive from Valle de Bravo and offers views of the lake and Nevado de Toluca. In addition to offering various lodging options, this venue features a restaurant serving international cuisine made with ingredients from local producers and a bar where you’ll find hot beverages and craft beer.
From camping to domes with fireplaces
Here, you can choose just how adventurous you want the experience to be. The camping spots are designed for you to bring and set up your own tent in the middle of the forest, and prices start at $400 per person.

For a stay with more amenities, there are the so-called “guaridas” (hideaways). “Nubes” consists of geodesic domes with a queen-size bed, a fireplace, a fire pit, and a private picnic table. “Alfa” adds a queen-size bed, a futon, a bathroom, and a terrace with Adirondack chairs. Both start at 3,900 pesos.
