Kaito Del Valle, the all-female-run cocktail bar in the Juárez neighborhood, is launching Shinobi Season: a seasonal menu that captures the personality, story, and aesthetic of five Naruto characters in a fun-filled, flavorful evening.
These drinks were created by head bartender Paulina Maldonado; each recipe is a combination of a character, a drink category, and a mixology technique or style. Paulina thoroughly researched each character to find the connection between their narrative universe and the ingredients!
The Cocktails
We start with “Uchiha,” inspired by Sasuke, served in a glass with a spherical ice cube that evokes the Sharingan; it contains bourbon, vermouth, amontillado sherry, sake, and banana water. If you like fresh flavors, try Green Lotus, which represents Rock Lee, made with rum, plum liqueur, green melon syrup with mint, and yuzu juice, topped with a Greek yogurt and mint cream.
“Uzumaki” is a drink dedicated to the protagonist, combining gin, Cynar aperitif, chili liqueur, sake, and mango-lychee water, garnished with a blue ribbon bearing the symbol of the Hidden Leaf Village. “Gama Sennin,” a tribute to Jiraiya, features bourbon, sake, Aperol, vermouth, peach liqueur, and sesame oil. Rounding out the menu is Huli Jing, a mocktail inspired by Kurama (9 tails), featuring non-alcoholic distilled spirit, peach soda, shiso, genmaicha tea, and a honey, raspberry, and gari cordial, accompanied by an isomalt popsicle with a wafer.

Note that each cocktail costs $260, while the mocktail costs $230.
Kaito Del Valle is located at Hamburgo 70B, Colonia Juárez, and is open Sunday through Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Please note that reservations are required; you can make one via WhatsApp at 55 7978 3180.
