The SEP’s official 2026–2027 School Calendar has been published! The new school year will begin on Monday, August 31, and will run through July 9, 2027. Take note of some important dates to keep in mind:
School Breaks
The first break of the new school year will be from December 21, 2026, to Tuesday, January 5, 2027; however, there is no school on January 6, so students will not return to class until January 7.
Meanwhile, the 2027 Holy Week break will run from March 22 to April 2.
No Classes
On September 16, November 2 and 16, December 25, January 1 and 6, February 1, March 15, and May 5, there is no teaching, so there are no classes.
Remember that there is a faculty meeting on the last Friday of every month, so classes are also suspended (except in December and March).
Grade Registration
In addition, the dates for grade entry will be November 13, 2026, March 5, and July 2, 2027.
Please note that the SEP’s 2026–2027 School Calendar applies to students in preschool, elementary, and middle school, as well as to private schools that are part of the National Education System.
