Jason Voorhees will be one of the stars of the 2026 Six Flags Mexico Festival of Terror. The new edition has already begun and features a total of eight horror attractions, including two new stories and one revamped experience. If you’re thinking of going, be careful which ticket you buy: entering the park doesn’t mean you’ll have access to all of these experiences.
The first thing you should know is that the festival will run from September 3 to November 16, and Six Flags is billing it as its biggest edition yet, with longer rides, more expansive scare zones, and live shows.
Jason and The Strangers are the new additions to the 2026 Festival of Terror
One of the main new additions is JASON: Blood Reign, an experience inspired by the Friday the 13th universe that takes visitors into the woods surrounding the camp where Jason Voorhees lurks.
Also making its debut is *The Strangers: No Escape*, based on chapters 1 and 2 of the series. According to Six Flags, it’s the largest attraction the festival has ever featured, with a ride that can last up to 10 minutes.
Added to these is The Conjuring Universe, which returns revamped with new scenes and production. In total, there will be eight horror attractions, as well as scare zones and shows like Cirque Du Grotesque, Sinister Procession, and Witches.
How much does the Six Flags Festival of Terror cost?
Here’s the key information so you can plan your visit perfectly. A one-day park admission ticket starts at $999, but it doesn’t include the eight horror attractions. The package that combines park admission and standard-line access to each attraction starts at 1,549 pesos.
If you already have admission, an Annual Pass, or a membership, you can purchase the Horror Attractions Pass separately starting at $550. Prices are minimum rates and vary depending on the date you choose to visit. Upgrading to the Monster Pass incurs an additional fee.
The horror experiences are recommended for ages 13 and up. Additionally, guests 12 and older are not allowed to enter wearing masks, costumes, character makeup, or other items that cover the face.
