If you’re looking for an experience full of flavor, music, and tradition this August, get ready—the 2026 Cheese, Bread, and Rompope Fair is about to begin . It’s an incredible culinary event you definitely won’t want to miss.
This major event is celebrating its tenth edition in the town of Tehuixtla, located in the municipality of Jojutla, Morelos. The official dates for this culinary festival are August 13–16, during which you’ll be able to sample local products and discover their versatility.
In addition to the culinary delights, the event will feature a program of artistic performances.
Schedule for the 2026 Cheese, Bread, and Rompope Fair
The lineup of activities kicks off on Thursday, August 13, with a clown show at 12:00 p.m., followed by a performance by Taiana “Polynesian Dances” at 5:00 p.m. The official opening ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m., and the day will close with a mariachi performance at 7:00 p.m.
On Friday, August 14, the music continues with the Puente de Ixtla Children’s Band at noon, Mexican music at 5:00 p.m., and a romantic performance by the “Generación 80” Rondalla at 7:00 p.m.
The weekend is also packed with surprises. On Saturday, August 15, you can enjoy a Vvariete event at 12:00 p.m. and the spectacular Renacimiento Mariachi Symphony Orchestra at 6:30 p.m.
Finally, Sunday, August 16, will kick off with a fun flash mob at 11:30 a.m., followed by an impressive horse dance at 5:00 p.m., and will conclude on a high note to the rhythm of the Zapata Orchestra at 7:00 p.m.
