The day has arrived. On Thursday, April 23, the 2026 Book and Anime Fair began at Bosque de Tláhuac. For over a week, there will be various activities, such as book presentations, conferences, storytelling, live music, and even talks with voice actors.
Throughout the event, there will be various activities for children, so don’t hesitate to bring them along, especially since there will be two weekends to visit the fair. Plus, they’re sure to find many interesting books they’ll want to buy; there will be something for everyone.
When is the 2026 Book and Anime Fair?
The event began this Thursday, April 23, and will run through next Saturday, May 2. Activities will take place every day starting at 11:00 a.m. It’s worth noting that the first weekend in May is a long weekend, as it includes a holiday in observance of Labor Day.
There will be storytelling, workshops, lectures, readings, book presentations, shows, and more. You’ll even get to enjoy a live music performance at the end of each day. You can check out the full schedule here.
Remember that the fair takes place at Bosque de Tláhuac, located at Av. La Turba S/N, Miguel Hidalgo, Tláhuac district. There will be different activities every day, so we recommend arriving early so you can enjoy everything.
