What will the soccer exhibition in CDMX be about?
The biggest party in the world of soccer is coming and to celebrate the 2026 World Cup there will be an incredible exhibition called “Collective Memory 70 and 86: The city that never stops playing”, a tribute with memories of the 1970 and 1986 World Cups.
The exhibition will gather objects from the World Cups that were hosted in our country, such as photographs, tickets, jerseys and more. Its purpose is to take a look back in time to remember these two important sporting events in the world of soccer.
Each piece will tell the stories of the fans, the amazing encounters on the field and those matches that thrilled the public decades ago. Thus, visitors to the expo will be able to relive the excitement of the anecdotes, triumphs and moments of this historic pair of tournaments.
The soccer exhibition in CDMX will be installed in the Unidad Habitacional Independencia, in Magdalena Contreras, one of the most emblematic places for soccer fans because that is where Pelé stayed during the 1970 World Cup.
