The 2026 Actopan Barbacoa Fair has already begun! It’s a culinary event where you’ll get to sample various recipes of this delicious dish. Plus, there are concerts and other activities. General admission costs $80 per person. It’s very close to Mexico City.
The fair began on July 3 and will end this Sunday, July 12. The main attraction is barbacoa, which you can enjoy in a variety of forms. There will be everything from tacos to consomé. It’s important to note that the food pavilion is located in the Historic Center of Actopan, Hidalgo (just over two hours from Mexico City).
Which artists will be performing at the 2026 Actopan Barbecue Fair?
During the first few days of the event, various singers such as Napoleón and Espinoza Paz performed on stage. However, the show isn’t over yet. Over the next few days, we’ll see:

- Domino, July 12: El Trono de México
The concerts take place at the fairgrounds located in the Actopan Sports Complex. Admission costs $80 and includes both the concerts and access to the amusement rides. The fair ends this weekend, so take advantage of your days off and treat your taste buds to some barbacoa tacos.
