Did you know that there will be an adoption day for dogs and cats in Chapultepec Park? We tell you everything you should know about this Adoptathon.
The first thing you should know is that the Adoptathon will take place on May 3 and 4. 
May 3 and 4 and you will be able to visit it from 
10:00 to 17:00 hours.
This event will take place at 
Paseo de los Compositores, located in the Second Section of Chapultepec Park, where they do accept the entry of loins!
What will be at this dog and cat adoption day in Chapultepec? You will learn more about how you can give a home to companion animals that have not yet found a family to care for them and love them.
Here you will meet the furry faces of the homeless dogs and cats that are sheltered by different rescuers and invited associations.
There will also be talks about the adoption and care of these pets.
You will find different exhibitors with products for sale with cause and also a collection area for donations to help homeless animals.
What to donate at Adoptathon?
If for the moment you can’t adopt a puppy or kitten, but you want to help those who need a home, you can donate different things that are always very helpful to the rescuers such as:
- Cleaning supplies: brooms, mops, dustpans, floor cleaning products, disinfectants, rags and more.
- Medications: Do you have leftover medications for your pets that are still good and have not expired? They could be of help to another furry friend.
- Food: The most common and most needed donation. Remember that the packages must be new and unopened. We accept kibble and sachets or cans of wet food.
- Beds to sleep: It can be a bed or blankets, towels, cushions or whatever you feel they need to sleep comfortably and warmly.
- Toys: They also love to play and balls, stuffed animals and other toys are always welcome.
- Dishes: Do you have any dishes that your pet no longer uses in good condition? They could be reused for water or food.
- Other items: You can donate collars, leashes, formula for puppies or baby cats, carriers, shampoos and anything else you could use for your pets.
