Now there’s a confirmed date! The wait is over, and we finally know when the Amaranth Fair will take place at the Monument to the Revolution. Remember that this event was originally scheduled for July of this year; however, the Ministry of Tourism announced its postponement.
This ingredient is very versatile, and it’s at the fair where you’ll be able to discover the desserts, sweets, and products made with it.
The new dates are August 21–23, 2026. Make a note of the hours so you don’t miss out: Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
It’s worth noting that this is a free event, so you can enjoy a variety of culinary experiences and cultural activities without worrying about the cost.
The entertainment lineup will be fantastic. You’ll be able to enjoy live music from groups such as Grupo Tribu, Los Huastecos, Paraíso Mexicano, the SSC Mariachi Band, and Los Reyes de Veracruz.
In addition, there will be a space for reflection with the discussion panel: “Textiles, Memory, and Tradition of Tulyehualco,” and for theater lovers, the play *Las Meninas* by Luis Huitrón will be performed.
As if that weren’t enough, the event will feature a soccer field, and we’ll get to witness the impressive Toxcatl Ceremony.
