This emblematic venue in Mexico City is celebrating its 61st anniversary. The best thing is that you can join the celebration. We tell you all about the race for the anniversary of the National Museum of Anthropology, which will be in costume.
The first Mesoamerican Gods and Goddesses Race will take place next Saturday, December 27 at 1:00 pm. It will be held at the museum‘s esplanade: Paseo de la Reforma Avenue and Calzada Gandhi S/N, in the Miguel Hidalgo district.
Participation is free; however, prior registration is required. In order to participate it is necessary to dress up as a Mesoamerican god or goddess.
This is how you can participate in the anniversary race of the Museum of Anthropology.
Both students and the general public can participate in this recreational race, according to the following categories:
- Category 1: boys and girls who are 4 to 15 years old.
- Category 2: young people between 16 and 24 years of age.
- Category 3: general public
In order to participate it is necessary to have a costume according to the theme. To register you must take a picture of yourself in costume and send it along with a brief description to the following e-mail addresses: servs-edu.mna@inah.gob.mx and comunicacioneducativamna@gmail.com.
