The track was inaugurated this Thursday morning, June 26. According to a press release from the Historic Center Authority, the objective of this activity is to promote sports.
It is worth mentioning that in this track you will not only run, but you will be able to participate in an athletics class, which will be led by Rodolfo Gómez Orozco, who has won several marathons, including the 1987 Mexico City Marathon, the 1981 Tokyo International Marathon and the 1982 Rotterdam Marathon, for example. You should know that this track will not be available every day, but only once a week. You will be able to go running in the Zócalo on Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 in the morning. So you will have to get up early.
