If you’re looking for free things to do in Mexico City this weekend, make a note of this in your diary. The Band Bazaar will arrive at the esplanade of the Monument to the Revolution with three days of live music, extreme sports, and activities for fans of different musical genres.
From March 13 to 15, this space in the Historic Center will become a meeting point for the alternative music scene. In addition to concerts, the event will bring together exhibitors with official artist merchandise, autograph signings, and several surprises for those who venture out to explore the bazaar.
Among the guests who will be mingling with fans are Donovan Morales, Free Kids, Prayers, Yukun, Beta, San Venus, Go Golden Junk, Simpson Ahuevo, Robot95, Tino el Pingüino, Dread, and José y el Toro, who will participate in autograph sessions during the event.
But music won’t be the only thing. During the three days, there will also be skateboarding and BMX competitions, as well as a Freestyle Master Series show, so the atmosphere will be a mix of urban festival, extreme sports, and music bazaar.
