The date and theme for the 2026 Barbie Race in Mexico City have been announced! This year, the event will feature races at two distances: 5 and 10 km; there will also be a 3 km fun run. Registration is now open.
Have you started training yet? The first thing you need to know is that this year ’s race theme will be Barbie and The Nutcracker. That’s right! Plus, the participant kit will include several items, such as a lightweight hoodie, a tote bag, socks, towel wristbands, and a visor, among other items.
When will the Barbie and The Nutcracker race take place in Mexico City?
This race is scheduled for Sunday, November 22, 2026. The event’s official website states that the race will take place on Paseo de la Reforma. The starting line will be located in front of the Torre Mayor.
There will be two races: a 5K and a 10K. There will also be a 3K recreational walk. You can participate in whichever distance you prefer. Just keep in mind that the event has a limited capacity of 15,000 participants.
Registration has already begun and will remain open until November 19. The race fee is $969 per person. This price is available until October 5; after that, registration will cost $1,069. Finally, if you register late (November 21–22), the price will be $1,269.
