Put on your party hat because the event celebrating Xin Xin’s birthday is coming up ! That’s right, we’ll be celebrating the 36th birthday of our beloved Mexican panda—a very respectable age and one worthy of a grand celebration in Mexico City.
As you probably already know, the event was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 27, but the Wildlife Conservation Centers announced on their social media account that it has been rescheduled for July 4.
Where’s the party? The Chapultepec Wildlife Conservation Center (yes, the Chapultepec Zoo). During the celebration, there will be various activities, including the highly anticipated cake-cutting ceremony.
But that’s not all—you can also unleash your inner artist! As part of the celebrations, there will be a contest and exhibition of illustrated letters called “Xin Xin Inspires Me,” where you can express and share all your feelings for our beloved panda.
