Mexico City government authorities announced the first details of Line 6 of the Cablebus, which will run from Milpa Alta to Metro Tláhuac. It will be 12.3 km long and will have seven stations. We tell you everything we know about it.
Clara Brugada, head of government of Mexico City, explained in a press conference that this line will be longer than the one in Iztapalapa. It will be more than 12 km long and the complete route will take just over 40 minutes; it will also connect with other means of transportation.
This is the Cablebus Line 6 Project
The stations that will make up the Tláhuac-Milpa Alta Cablebus will be:
- Tláhuac
- Juan Palomo
- Santiago Tulyehualco
- San Juan Ixtayopan
- San Antonio Tecómitl
- San Francisco Tecoxpa
- Milpa Alta
The Tláhuac station will be right at the Cetram and will connect with Metro Line 12 as well as with the RTP. So far it is not known when construction will begin. What is known is that a citizen consultation about this project will start soon.
Mexico City currently has three Cablebus lines: Indios Verdes-Cuautepec, Constitución de 1917-Santa Marta and Los Pinos-Vasco de Quiroga.
