Through its dishes, decoration and even a series of old cash registers, Café la Blanca offers an authentic journey through time full of flavor and tradition. It opened its doors in 1915 and since then it has become an unmissable stop in Mexico City’s Historic Center.
Originally this business began as a milk shop exactly 110 years ago; however, over time other types of food were added to the place. It was in 1943 when Café la Blanca changed ownership and the menu was expanded, according to information from El Financiero.
Throughout its history it has received great personalities such as Carlos Monsiváis, actors, sportsmen and even musicians, such as some members of the band Botellita de Jerez.
