
Do you already have plans for the last weekend of June? Come to Ciudad Universitaria to see Carmina Burana. There will be two performances of this work by Carl Orff, one of which will be free admission. Make a note of the dates.
More than 20 dancers on stage will perform this musical work that addresses themes such as love, nature and everything in life itself. In fact it is based on medieval poems and songs.
When can we see Carmina Burana at Ciudad Universitaria?
This weekend will be the last two performances of the season. The first one will be this Friday, June 27 at the Teatro Estefanía Chávez Barragán, located in the Faculty of Architecture of Ciudad Universitaria. It will begin at 12:30 p.m. and seating is limited, so arrive early to get a seat. Admission for this presentation is free.
The second performance is this Sunday, June 29 at the same time but at the Sala Miguel Covarrubias in the CCU (Avenida Insurgentes Sur 3000, CU, Coyoacán). It costs $100 per person and you can buy your tickets at the Cultura UNAM website, so hurry before the seats are sold out!
Take this opportunity to see this musical work, which was officially premiered in 1937. Close the month in a very musical way.
