The Secretary of Tourism of Mexico City announced the details of the second edition of the Carnival of Carnivals, which will take place on February 8 at 3:00 pm.
All about the Carnival of Carnivals 2025 in the Historic Center
On this occasion, 74 groups from different Mexico City municipalities will participate, including Xochimilco, Venustiano Carranza, Gustavo A. Madero, Azcapotzalco, Iztapalapa, Iztacalco, Magdalena Contreras, Tláhuac and Tlalpan.
The route will start at the Monumento a la Revolución and will end at the Zócalo of Mexico City. It will pass through different streets, including Avenida de la República, Avenida Juárez and 5 de Mayo.
According to the Ministry of Culture of Mexico City, more than 3,800 catrines, chinelos, charros, paragüeros, huehuenches and more will participate. The entire route will be accompanied by musical bands.
The event is free of charge. Write down all the details and don’t miss it. It is worth mentioning that carnivals are a tradition in the CDMX. According to data from the Government of Mexico City, there are more than 60 carnivals in the district, in which about 400 groups participate.
