Through a press release, the Secretariat of Works and Services of the CDMX detailed that dynamic and static tests are being carried out on a 17.5 kilometer stretch.
For this purpose, 23 accelerometers were placed in order to see vibrations and accelerations that occur when the trains are in motion. In addition, static tests are performed.
During these tests, the trains are loaded with sandbags so that they can simulate the weight of passengers. During this work, topographic measurements are also taken using different scenarios, such as train traffic.
So far it is not known when the Interurban Train will be inaugurated in its entirety. Once completed, it is expected that the travel time between the State of Mexico and Mexico City will be approximately 39 minutes.
