You are about to embark on a trip for which you won’t need suitcases! This is Festival Mundo Japan, an event where you will learn more about oriental culture without leaving CDMX. Especially Korea, India and of course Japan.
This event consists of a bazaar where you will find all kinds of items; themed, jewelry, clothing, cosmetics and even designer pieces. A good excuse to pinch your savings 😉.
What activities will there be at the CDMX Oriental Festival.
In addition to the bazaar, the festival is characterized by its variety of activities and artistic presentations. Get ready to enjoy music with Indian instruments such as sithar and tabla, or taiko drums from Japan.
Also, there will be classical Indian dance acts, such as mohiniyattam. And one of the most exciting shows is the martial arts: kendo, sonbae, aikido and kung fu.
As if that were not enough, there will be literary presentations and hena and origami workshops. If you go with your sweetheart, you will love to participate in the themed weddings or find out what your luck holds through omikuji.
But if competition is your thing, join the cosplay competition (for children and adults) or the oriental costume contest.
