How do I sign up for the night race in Chapultepec Forest?
If there’s one thing Mexico City has in abundance, it’s races. There are all kinds of races with all sorts of themes; best of all, they take place at some of the city’s most iconic locations, such as Paseo de la Reforma, the Zócalo, and Chapultepec Forest.
Registration for this night race opens this Friday, October 2, online. The cost is $750 per person. It’s worth noting that this is a charity event; proceeds will go toward the restoration of the Chapultepec Orchid Garden.
The full route and schedule will be announced later. In the meantime, keep training and mark your calendar. While you’ll warm up as you exercise, don’t forget that November is usually very cold in Mexico City, so take precautions and wear appropriate athletic clothing for the cold.
