This Thursday, February 6, the details and activities that will take place in Mexico City for the Half Marathon and the Mexico City Marathon 2025 were announced. Among all the events, a children’s race in the Chapultepec Forest was announced.
When will be the Children’s Marathon in Chapultepec Forest?
This children’s race is part of the activities for the Mexico City Marathon 2025 and aims to promote sports among children. It is a free event in which children from 6 to 12 years old can participate.
This children’s marathon is scheduled to take place next Sunday, August 10, 2025 in the Chapultepec Forest. It is worth mentioning that the kids will not run many kilometers. In a press conference it was announced that the distance will be 100 or 200 meters depending on the categories.

This is not the only race that will be held on the occasion of these sporting events. On March 2, the first Utopías race will be held, which will be 8 kilometers long. On May 24 we will have the Women’s Race; it will be at night and will have a 10 kilometer route.
