
Who’s ready to celebrate the beginning of the year of the wooden snake? On Saturday, February 1st there will be a parade for the Chinese New Year in the Historic Center of Mexico City. Are you going to miss it?
As every year the National Museum of World Cultures will go all out to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This time there will be a parade, workshops and many surprises.

This small parade will be held at the National Museum of World Cultures (Moneda 13, Centro Histórico de la CDMX). You will see dragons and lions parade, while enjoying traditional music.
As we told you, this is not the only activity that the museum will have, there will also be guided tours, martial arts exhibitions and more. The event will take place from 10:00 to 17:00 hours. Admission is free but there will be a limited capacity of 800 people.
The schedule for the parade has not yet been announced, so try to arrive early so you don’t miss it and enjoy all the activities that will take place.
It is worth mentioning that, in addition to this event at the museum, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China announced other activities for the Chinese New Year throughout Mexico City.
