Do you already have plans for this Thursday? How would you like to see a free movie outdoors? Organize everything so you can go see Como agua para chocolate in the Historic Center of the CDMX. The screening is free.
The film, by director Alfonso Arau, was released in 1992 and is based on the novel by Laura Esquivel. It tells the story of Tita, who, being the youngest daughter, is forced by her mother to take care of her until she dies.
Her mother’s decision prevents her and Pedro from being together. Finally he ends up marrying Rosaura, Tita’s sister; however, this marriage is only the beginning of the whole story. It is worth mentioning that one of the main characteristics of this story is the prominence of gastronomy.
When will Como agua para chocolate be screened at the Centro Histórico?
The screening will be this Thursday, December 5 at Plaza Tolsá (Tacuba 8, Historic Center of Mexico City, Cuauhtémoc).
The film will start at 6:00 pm, so we recommend you to dress warmly, because at this time of the year it is usually very cold in the afternoons and evenings.
Organize your schedule and go see this movie after work or school.
