The Palacio de Bellas Artes will host a concert featuring works by Mozart and other composers this weekend! There will be only one performance, so keep reading—we’ve got all the details for you.
What better way to spend this weekend than by enjoying a classical music concert at one of Mexico City’s most iconic venues: the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
This time, the show “La voz cantada” will be presented, featuring Belinda Ramírez, soprano and soloist with the Ópera de Bellas Artes, and pianist Héctor Cruz, who will perform pieces by various composers such as Strauss, Mozart, Paisiello, Serrano, Brahms, and more.
When will there be a concert featuring Mozart’s works at the Palacio de Bellas Artes?
This musical event will take place on Sunday, July 5, at 6:00 p.m. sharp. The venue is the Manuel M. Ponce Hall at the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Av. Juárez and Eje Central, Historic Center).
Tickets are now on sale and cost $75 each. You can purchase them online (plus service fees) or directly at the venue’s box office. Keep in mind that the Mexican national soccer team has a game on Sunday, and the streets tend to be crowded, so we recommend leaving early if you plan to attend this concert.
Mozart vs. Beethoven Concert by Candlelight
There will also be a concert featuring Mozart’s works at Chapultepec Castle! At this candlelit event, you’ll hear iconic pieces by both composers.
Performances will take place on July 23 and 30, as well as August 29 and September 11. Ticket prices start at $925 (plus service fees). You can purchase your tickets for “Candlelight: Mozart vs. Beethoven” at this link.
