This weekend in Mexico City, the 2026 San Ángel Flower Fair kicks off and will feature 64 free concerts. In addition, for the first time, there will be an international guest: Morocco.
The first thing you need to know is that the 169th edition of this fair will take place from July 11 to 19 at various venues, including the Soumaya Museum, the Casa del Risco Museum, the El Carmen Museum, and San Jacinto Square, among other locations. Parque de la Bombilla will be the main venue; it’s worth noting that the Soccer Festival and the flower fair will share this space.
What concerts will be held at the San Ángel Flower Fair?
In a video posted on social media, the Álvaro Obregón City Hall announced that various artists will perform this year. For example, we’ll see:
- Los Askis: July 12
- Gran Sur and Iraida Noriega: July 16
- Belafonte Sensacional and Andrea Echeverri: July 17
- Cecilia Toussaint and Matute: July 18
- Sonora Dinamita and Los Llayras: July 19
In addition to music, there will be 130 activities, as well as culinary offerings. This year, 11 restaurants and 56 shops will participate, where you can buy desserts, snacks, traditional sweets, and even handicrafts.
Of course, there will be no shortage of flowers. This fair will feature 84 flower growers from different areas such as San Bartolo Ameyalco, Tlalpan, Cuemanco, Xochimilco, and Cuajimalpa, among others. There will even be a contest for balconies decorated with flowers.
