To do this, you just need to create or log in to your Llave MX account, have your valid official ID (such as an INE or passport), and the birth certificate to be corrected in digital format (PDF, JPG, or PNG). This way, you’ll avoid waiting in line or traveling from your state to complete this process.
Go to the Mi Registro Civil portal and click on the option that says“Correction of Birth Certificate”; then, click the “Start Process” button and enter the information requested by the system. The response time is 5 days.
24/7 Service Window
At a press conference, the head of the Agency for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications, José Antonio Peña Merino, announced that administrative procedures are being streamlined so they can be completed online in a simple manner.x
On the official website www.gob.mx, a“24/7 Service Window” has been set up that you can use to complete procedures remotely, such as generating your CURP, obtaining your tax status certificate, finding social programs, and accessing procedures related to the Civil Registry or the passport appointment system. It also offers personalized assistance through the “Need Help?” chat feature.
