Would you like to see one of the most complete mammoth skeletons of the American continent? You can admire it for free at the Mammoth Museum at AIFA! This site is located less than two hours from Mexico City and can be reached by public transportation. Take note.
The Paleontological Museum of Santa Lucía Quinametzin was inaugurated in February 2022 and exhibits mainly paleontological remains that were found during excavations in the area.
It is divided into six rooms and a thematic garden, where you will discover more about the mammoths that inhabited America, the biological diversity that existed in the Valley of Mexico, the arrival of humans and even fossils.
You will even see life-size models and replicas of animals. The best part is that admission to the museum is free. Have you visited it yet?
