The sonidero scene and cumbia will take over a Mexico City museum with a tropical party that promises dancing until midnight. Cumbia Museo is coming to the Postal Culture Museum with live music, sonidero-style performances, DJ sets, and an atmosphere inspired by the city’s eastern culture.
The event will take place on May 15 in the San Rafael neighborhood and will bring together independent music projects, free-form cumbia, and a tropical lineup perfect for those looking for something different to do in the city. Plus, there will be happy hour for most of the night.

The lineup includes MorenoSound and El Monstruo with a live cumbia libre show, as well as performances by the sound system muses Princesa Duende and Sonidera Nacional. Also featured will be Sonido Songo, an emerging project from the eastern part of Mexico City, and a tropical DJ set by Trópico de Cáncer.
