One of the most anticipated festivities of the year is finally here! Get your catrina makeup ready, because at Los Pinos there will be a lot of Day of the Dead activities. All of them are free, so you’ll have no excuse to have a great weekend.
Let’s start with the itinerary for this 📅 Friday, November 1. At 🕛 18:00 there will be a play entitled Fandango del Inframundo. The show will be held at Plaza Jacarandas.
Most events and presentations will be on 📅 Saturday, November 2. Starting at 12:00 you will be able to join workshops or enjoy the concert that is prepared. Here the itinerary:
💀 12:00 – presentation of Posada la vida no vale nada… y la hoja suelta un centavo, novel by Gonzalo Rocha.
🏵️ 12:00 – amaranth skull workshop.
💀 13:00 – cempasúchil atole tasting.
🏵️ 14:00 – workshop and calaverita contest
💀 15:00 – Community Symphony Orchestra of Huasca
🏵️ 18:00 – Fandango de Inframundo play
On 📅 Sunday, November 3, the activities will continue. At 13:00 there will be a dance performance called Dulce olor a muerte (Sweet smell of death) and at 16:00 Mexican legends will be told.
During the three days, at 11:00, there will be an explanation of Mexican altars and the elements that make up the ofrendas.
