The night rides in CDMX are back. Get on your bike or skates because on Saturday, October 26th we will have a night ride for Day of the Dead. Don’t forget your costume (it’s not mandatory but it’s to go with the theme).
According to the organizers, this year’s 2024 night bike ride will be 20 kilometers long. The route will be from Fuente de Petróleos to Izazaga in the Historic Center of Mexico City.

This is an event where you can enjoy Mexico City at night. It will start at 🕛 19:00 and will conclude at 23:00. Being a special edition for Day of the Dead, you can go in costume. You will have a night full of fun.
While the tour is the main ingredient of this event, in each edition there are usually other activities. This year there will be a costume contest, live music, bike school and physical activations.
The Day of the Dead Bike Ride in CDMX is a free event suitable for all ages, 🎟️. Don’t miss it next Saturday, October 26th. If you don’t have a bike, don’t worry because they will lend you one. Just get there early because the bikes are running out fast.
You can take advantage of the event to take pictures on Paseo de la Reforma, a street that is already decorated with thousands of marigold flowers. Also, on this day you will see several monumental alebrijes. There is a lot to see.
What other activities will there be in CDMX for Day of the Dead?
One day after the night bike ride, on October 27, the Mega Procession of Catrinas will take place on Paseo de la Reforma.
But that’s not all. On the same street will be the Cempasúchil Flower Festival, an event where you can buy flowers and everything you need for your ofrenda.
Regarding the Day of the Dead parade, it has already been confirmed that it will take place next Saturday, November 2.
