Rita Guerrero was born in 1964. Throughout her artistic career she ventured into theater and music; she was even the lead singer of the group Santa Sabina. She passed away in 2011.
As part of International Women’s Day and in order to remember her career and musical legacy, “Rita, el documental” will be screened at the Cineteca Nacional México (avenida México Coyoacán 389, Xoco, alcaldía Benito Juárez).

In this material, released in 2018 and directed by Arturo Díaz Santana, you will learn more about the life and trajectory of this emblematic artist and activist, as well as the context and the era in which she lived.
You will see, for example, how was her time in the group Santa Sabina, as well as the time when she served as director of the Choir of the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana.
