The museum returns with art, Xoloitzcuintles, and more
One of the reasons we’re excited about its reopening is that we’ll be able to admire one of the most important collections of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo (figures who left their mark on the history of Mexican art), as well as pieces of pre-Hispanic, New Spanish, and folk art.
But if there’s one thing we truly missed, it was the spectacular view of its gardens, because in addition to its fascinating galleries, the museum allows visitors to admire the architecture and landscape of the site.

During the tour, we’ll be able to observe its iconic Xoloitzcuintles and even encounter the elegant peacocks that are part of the grounds. The combination of art, culture, and nature makes this place one of the most magical and culturally rich sites in the city.
