
Get on the flying cloud and jump into the Dragon Ball parade in CDMX. In addition to the parade, the event will have other activities, including a concert and a party. Take note.
In order to pay tribute to the creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama, who passed away on March 1, 2024, this weekend we will have several activities related to this iconic anime. There will be a parade, concert and even a cosplay contest.
Dragon Ball parade route in CDMX
The event is organized by Tanabatacon and Dragon Bar Super, a restaurant themed on this anime. As for the parade, it will start at 15:00 hours at the Monumento a la Revolución. The organizers will be on site from 13:00 hours, so you can arrive before the parade starts to mingle with other fans.
Afterwards, the parade will pass through Ponciano Arriaga Street and Mexico Tenochtitlan Avenue. The parade will end at the esplanade of the Cuauhtémoc City Hall. Upon arrival (3:30 p.m.) there will be a Genkidama.
At 4:00 p.m. the Dragon Ball concert will start at the same place. You will sing at the top of your lungs the most emblematic themes of the saga. There will also be a cosplay contest.
And to close with a flourish, there will be an After Sayajin at Dragon Bar Super (Avenida Montevideo 539, San Bartolo Atepehuacan, alcaldía Gustavo A. Madero). The cost to attend is $80 in presale and $120 the day of the event. DJ Chelo will be performing.
Note: the Sayajin Parade, the concert and other activities are free of charge. The only one that has a cost is the after party.
