CDMX conquers the hearts of tourists, explorers and, of course, celebrities. This time it was Ed Sheeran who was amazed with the margaritas at Sala de Despecho, a bar that is characterized by healing broken hearts with lots of music and good atmosphere.
Last May 14, 2025, the singer made an unexpected appearance that surprised the attendees. He then joined the night of singing and performed some of his most popular songs such as: Shape of you and Thinking out loud. Of course, his guitar accompanied him at all times.
Through his Instagram stories, Ed Sheeran shared that he loved being back in Mexico City and then posted “margaritas”, as a hashtag.
How much does it cost to drink at Sala de Despecho?
This bar is located on Masaryk Avenue in Polanco. On the food menu you’ll find Mexican antojitos such as tacos, tlayudas, aguachiles, tortas and even pozole. Costs range from $70 to $280.
The drinks menu offers cocktails, shots, beers and a wide variety of spirits. The cost of drinks ranges from $130 to $300 (per glass).
However, in order to enter you must make a reservation several days in advance.
