This Thursday, June 11, the 2026 World Cup officially kicks off. As part of this sporting event, the FIFA Fan Festival will be set up in Mexico City’s Zócalo, where various matches will be broadcast, including the opening match: Mexico vs. South Africa.

The Mexico City 2026 account announced that El Recodo will give a concert in the Zócalo once the Mexico vs. South Africa match ends.
The match starts around 1:00 p.m., so the concert will take place around 3:00 p.m. Don’t forget to bring a raincoat, as there is currently a rain shower in Mexico City.
