Last Saturday, August 22, the Alley of Eternal Christmas was inaugurated in Chignahuapan, Puebla—an event that marks the start of the holiday season in this “magical town.”
The Alley of Eternal Christmas features half a million lights and 10,000 orbs of different colors. Let’s not forget that Chignahuapan is renowned precisely for its handcrafted orbs.

Alley of Eternal Christmas, parades, and a monumental Christmas tree in Chignahuapan, Puebla
Juan Rivera Trejo, the mayor of Chignahuapan, explained that the upcoming holiday season will feature various activities, including both Christmas and Day of the Dead celebrations. There will be:
- Tree Lighting and the Monumental Ornament – October 24: Every year, this “magical town” boasts a massive tree nearly 70 meters tall. In 2025, this tree featured an observation deck.
- Festival of Light and Life —October 30 and 31, as well as November 1 and 2
- Parade of Skulls – November 3
- International Tree and Ornament Festival – November 20–29
- Christmas Parade – December 4
