If we talk about mysticism, we almost immediately think of this painter who marked a milestone in artistic surrealism. Leonora Carrington ‘s legacy will continue to surprise us this 2026 with an exhibition that will open in Mexico City.
The exhibition will be held at the OMR Gallery located at Córdoba 100, Roma Norte. At the moment, there is very little information about the works that will be present; however, one of the confirmed works is the painting Ethiops.
What we do know is that it will remain for a short period of time: from February 3 to April 21.
Along with the Leonora Carrington exhibition, this CDMX gallery will inaugurate I Am The Sun, I Am The New Year. This is an exhibition by artist Marcel Dzama that reflects on systems of oppression and authoritarianism through colorful canvases and elements that allude to play and fantasy.
This exhibition will also remain from February 3 to April 21, so your visit to the OMR Gallery will be full of surprises.
Generally, access to this gallery is free, although it has not been disclosed how the admission will be to see these samples. Visiting hours are from Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays, from 11:00 to 16:00.
