After an accident occurred this Saturday, April 5, in which two people lost their lives, the second day of Ceremonia 2025 Festival, which was scheduled to take place this weekend, has been cancelled.
This was informed through official channels of the festival. It was decided to suspend the activities for this Sunday, April 6. Refunds will be made through Ticketmaster.
Regarding the accident, the Secretary of Integral Risk Management and Civil Protection of Mexico City informed that a structure collapsed during the event, which was being moved by a crane.
As a result, two press personnel died, a man and a woman. According to information from the Mayor’s Office of Miguel Hidalgo, at 1:36 a.m. on April 6, suspension seals were placed at Parque Bicentenario, where the festival was being held, in order to cancel this Sunday’s activities.
