Haven’t seen the movie yet or want to see it again on the big screen? During February, we will be able to see Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein in the Zócalo. And not only that, but My Friend the Robot and Dream in Another Language will also be screened, among many others.
Between February 15 and 22, free movies will be screened at the Jardín del Buen Amor, an installation in Mexico City’s Zócalo where you’ll see more than 11,000 flowers and four monumental sails.
The films will be screened from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and all will be free of charge. Here is the complete program.
When will Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein be screened in Mexico City’s Zócalo?
According to a statement from the Mexico City Ministry of Culture, the film will be shown on Sunday, February 22, at 7:45 p.m. As we mentioned, this is not the only film you will see. The following will also be screened:
- My Friend the Robot – Sunday, February 15 at 6:30 p.m.
- Sueño en otro idioma (Dream in Another Language) – Monday, February 16, at 6:30 p.m.
- Impossible Things – Tuesday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m.
- Danzón – Wednesday, February 18 at 6:30 p.m.
- The Silence of My Hands – Thursday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m.
- Güeros – Friday, February 20 at 6:30 p.m.
- Corina – Sunday, February 22 at 6:00 p.m.
In addition, the Garden of Good Love will feature musical performances, including mariachis. You will have a whole week to visit. It will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
