Stranger Things: The Experience finally opened its doors in CDMX and just in time to celebrate the release of the fifth and final season of the series. So if you want to be part of the team and fight against Vecna, we’ll tell you why it’s worth it a thousand times over if you’re a fan of this saga.

A 100% immersive experience
The ride begins when you enter the Hawkins Laboratory to participate in a sleep study. However, things soon start to get weird and in the Rainbow Room you will discover that you have powers (just like Eleven!). All the special effects will convince you that you can control your environment with the power of your mind.

Of course, we recommend that you go in the mood to play, pretend and get carried away by the story so that you have a great time and don’t break the illusion – it helps if you wear your best 80’s outfit! For the same reason, you are not allowed to use your cell phone during the tour (besides, smartphones didn’t exist in the eighties).
You’ll see the original characters
Eleven, Will, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Erica and Max will be part of this adventure. You’ll see them on different screens as they help you escape from Dr. Brenner and in the final fight against the demogorgons and Vecna on the other side.

Combination of technology and sets
The whole experience is very immersive because it features the perfect combination of rooms set up just as you see them in the series with state-of-the-art technology that generates incredible special effects.
We don’t want to give you spoilers, but in the final battle you’ll have to wear 3D glasses and, truth be told, you do feel like at any moment a demogorgon could come out and attack you.

Mixtape Zone
Now it’s time to get out your cell phone and take all the pictures you want. In this area you will see the most iconic places in Hawkins: Will’s house, Palace Arcade and Scoops Ahoy. We recommend Surfer Boy’s pizza and you definitely have to try an ice cream sandwich made with waffles.

In addition to the food and drink area, there are plenty of places to get your picture taken: with a demogorgon coming out of a portal, in the official costumes from the movie and the classic one on Will’s couch at home.
Last but not least, we can’t forget their merch, which is really cool. They have Hellfire Club products or Eleven’s iconic shirt. You will also find amazing t-shirts, funkos and tote bags to show your love for the series.
