What will you find at Formula 1® The Exhibition?
This amazing Formula 1® exhibition in Mexico City features seven themed rooms that will take you on a journey through the 75-year history of the most prestigious competition in the world of racing.
You’ll see historic race cars, original artifacts, never-before-seen photographs, and even a simulator that lets you feel like you’re racing at full speed around a track (for an additional cost of $215 per person on top of your general admission ticket).
You’ll find several interactive areas, such as touchscreens that let you explore the technical features of historic and modern cars in 360°.
Some of the most fascinating exhibits that are sure to amaze you include the Lancia D50, the 1950s single-seater in which Juan Manuel Fangio won his fourth world title in 1956.
Plus, you’ll also have the chance to see an impressive life-size LEGO F1 car—built from tiny bricks—that was unveiled during the drivers’ parade at the 2025 Miami Grand Prix.
There’s also a section featuring 96 drivers’ helmets, a compilation of circuits from around the world, and racing suits worn by the legends of the sport.
You won’t believe it! These are the real gems inside the exhibition
Although the entire exhibition brings together never-before-seen artifacts and archival material that bring historic moments in F1® to life, among the items that have left the public most speechless are the charred remains of Romain Grosjean’s car —the very one involved in his crash at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix.
And finally, something we didn’t expect is the Mexican Drive room, dedicated to honoring the legacy of Mexican motorsports. There you’ll find items belonging to Esteban Gutiérrez, single-seaters driven by Checo Pérez, and other surprises you’ll discover during your visit to the F1® exhibition in Mexico City.
How long can you visit the official F1® exhibition?
Don’t get left off the starting grid! Formula 1® The Exhibition will continue at the Yama Punta Museum, Wednesday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. , through September 20.
Tickets are still available starting at $295, and VIP packages start at $750 (which include amazing merchandise). To visit, you must purchase your ticket in advance and select the time slot that works best for you.
Although we knew this fascinating exhibition in Mexico City (which has traveled to many other countries) was immersive, we didn’t expect to find a QR code for an audio tour that fully enriches the experience. That’s why we suggest you don’t forget to bring headphones so you don’t miss out on hearing all the information behind what you’ll see in each room.
