The Franz Mayer Museum became a fashion runway with this new exhibition. You will discover garments that became legendary during the 60s, 70s and 80s. And yes, wear a winning outfit to go ad hoc with the exhibition.
First you should know that Antonio. Moda indomable is an exhibition that pays tribute to Antonio Lopez and Juan Ramos, important figures in the fashion industry. Why? Their illustrations marked a before and after in the canons of beauty of those years.
Flared pants, brightly colored clothes, prints and combinations full of accessories are some of the characteristics of their designs. They were also among the first illustrators to capture movement with a touch of eroticism.
Well, this exhibition gathers around 400 pieces: sketches, illustrations, photographs and videos that will show you in detail this transition. Of course, you will also see garments, including those by Yves Saint Laurent, a designer close to Antonio López.
The vibe will transport you to the holidays with mirror balls, neon colors and glamour. This fashion exhibition will be at the Franz Mayer 🗓️ until June 29, 2025. Remember that access costs $150; teachers, students and seniors with UNAPAM pay $75. Are you missing it?
