It’s a fact! Next Saturday, September 6, we will have a free concert by Residente at the Zócalo in Mexico City. Take note of everything you should know.
The news was announced this Saturday morning, August 16, through the official accounts of the Mexico City government. In addition, Residente confirmed his participation in a storie published on his social networks. It is worth mentioning that he will not come alone, but will be accompanied by several artists.
“I want to announce that on September 6, this September 6 I will be playing in the Zócalo, in Mexico. I do not take it for granted, I know where I am playing, it is a special place, it was where Tenochtitlán was born…”, detailed the Puerto Rican singer through a video.
When will Residente’s free concert in the Zócalo be held?

The event will be next Saturday, September 6. It will start at 8:00 p.m. and will have as special guest the female collective Mujer en Cypher. We will see Arianna Puello, Ximbo, Niña Dioz, Priana Esponda, Mena and Azuki on stage.
It is important to mention that access is free, so we recommend you arrive early to get a good spot. Don’t forget to bring comfortable clothes and a raincoat in case it rains. Remember that, in general, umbrellas are not allowed at the free concerts in the Zócalo.
