There’s something new in one of the most magical corners of Chapultepec Forest! The Garden of Mirrors has been renovated and reopened its doors this Saturday, August 22, with a variety of attractions and packages to enjoy a unique experience with family, friends, or your special someone—all without leaving the First Section.
Let’s start with the must-sees, all for just $40 pesos: the House of Mirrors, the Crystal Maze, and Portal Mictlán. The Crystal Maze stands out for its journey through crystals, lights, and reflections, designed for visitors of all ages.
For the bravest, there’s a zip line for $70 and a mini version for $55 for the little ones. And no experience would be complete without a bit of virtual reality, so you can enjoy “Legends of the Cosmos,” a virtual reality simulator for $75.
A historic carousel for $45
Want to feel like you’re in a fairy tale? One of the attractions you can’t miss is the two-level carousel, which costs $45. It’s a hand-painted Venetian-style ride, decorated with references to Italian canals and gondolas.
According to information provided by the venue, this carousel was in Venice and Chicago before arriving in Mexico. It stands 11 meters tall and features 42 fiberglass horses, carriages, wooden floors, and around 2,500 lights that illuminate it at night.
It can accommodate 70 people, and each ride lasts approximately three minutes.

Want to experience it all? There are packages available so you can try out several experiences. The Chapi Combo costs $175 and includes the House of Mirrors, the Crystal Maze, the Portal to Mictlán, and Legends of the Cosmos.
The Extreme Combo costs $280 and adds a carousel and zip line to the attractions mentioned above. For the little ones, there’s the Kids’ Combo for $115, which includes the House of Mirrors, the Crystal Maze, and a mini zip line.
