Beyond the rainbow, there is a universe of colors that we can see with the naked eye; you just have to look up. This is the Fiesta en el Cielo, a giant kite festival that returns to Tequisquiapan, Querétaro, in 2026 .
Attendees will be able to watch a show in the sky, in which kites of different shapes and sizes are the stars of a real party in the air. This year, the event celebrates its eighth edition with a host of attractions that will surprise the whole family.
In addition to kite flying, there will be workshops, games, children’s shows, live music, and recreational activities that will make the trip worthwhile.

When will the Giant Kite Festival be held in Querétaro?
Don’t waste any time organizing your plans, as the festival will only take place over two consecutive weekends: February 21, 22, and 28, and March 1.
Admission costs $180 per person; children under 1.20 meters tall do not pay for a ticket. Please note that your furry friend will not be able to accompany you on this occasion, as this event is not pet friendly. The event will take place at Cava Bocanegra.
